En Ami Club 

In 1980, when Christ Congregational Church, UCC of Brockton was formed, through the consolidation of four Congregational Churches, the women of the church decided to share their strengths and resources learned in each of their women's organizations and founded the En Ami Club of Christ Church. 

En Ami, loosely translated from the French, means "As a friend."  As its By-Laws state, its purpose is "to interest women in the social, spiritual and educational life of the church and to unite them in fellowship."  Membership is open to all women "attendant or member of Christ Congregational Church or in sympathy with the purpose of the club."

Beginning in September, 2007 the evening meetings of the club will occur in October, December and May.  In addition, members may join smaller groups that set their own meeting schedules and activities.  To become a member of En Ami you just have to express an interest in joining.

En Ami is an integral part of Christ Church, raising money for church pledges, and sponsoring scholarships and camperships for church members.  In addition, the club contributes to missions at the local, national and international levels.
